This year’s edition of Klosters Music presents a series of contrasting concerts featuring world-class performers and a program of masterpieces shaped by a strong sense of time and place, capturing the spirit of the age in which they were created.

Under the theme “Icons,” the festival brings together renowned artists such as Bryn Terfel, Miloš Karadaglić, Maurice Steger, and Sir András Schiff. Alongside the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen conducted by Edward Gardner and the Camerata Salzburg under Antonello Manacorda, the program features chamber music performances by the Pacific Quintet and Septura Brass, a film music concert dedicated to Amadeus, and, as the festival finale on August 9, Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante and Elgar’s Enigma Variations with Veronika Eberle and Timothy Ridout. The concert will also mark the farewell of David Whelton as Artistic Director.
